Dear Parents,

Many thanks for your interest in studying violin with me. I will be accepting transfer students during the Spring and Summer, then new beginners in the Fall. Please plan ahead: Group Classes will be Thursdays from 5:30 - 6pm in Davis Square.

For transfer students, we can set up a 20 minute phone interview and if it seems like a good fit, the next step would be to come observe a lesson. If you think my style of teaching will match your way of learning, we can set up a 30-minute trial lesson.

For parents of new beginners age 4 - 6, I would like to talk to you on the phone and meet you and your child in August to determine if your child is ready to begin violin lessons.

Besides compatible availability, I'm looking for:

1. Someone who communicates well via email / text.

2. Someone who strives for an organized, calm existence.

3. Someone who values music and already listens often at home.

4. Someone who has time to practice in an un-hurried way each day.
